Will A Creditor Come To My Home?

Will Anyone Come to My Home When Bankrupt?

No. If anyone turns up to your house unannounced, claiming to be from the trustee’s office – call the police.

In the unlikely event that a creditor turns up to your house, give the creditor your trustee’s details, for the creditor to leave and contact your trustee. Your trustee will explain to the creditor that you no longer owe the monies and all future communication is to be with the trustee.
